Kent CVH34 camshaft timing..

Postby project_mistral on Sun Jun 22, 2008 9:42 pm

What timing setups have people with this cam on the fiesta turbo? I know there are 3 standard pulley types for the cvh: KA, AA and BB i believe. What pulley is best suited to the cam on standard timing marks or not? Or if not what vernier is best to use and is it retarded or advanced?

The reason i ask is i have just installed this cam on mine running a t2 hybrid (holding 16psi) and beiges, and although the head is now nice and quiet there doesn't seem to be any difference in performance, im not looking for a massive gain but could this be down to the timing not quite right? its currently set up on standard timing marks using a KA pulley.

Any help much appreciated.

I have a Fiesta RST uprated head (porting, valves, valve guides etc) with a CVH34 cam, beige injectors, chipped and a t2 at about 15 psi! I do not have a verier pully at the moment but have one on order as at 3500 rpm the mix is getting very rich (not flowing very vell). I am also interested in ANY info on cam and timings... advance etc.

ar regard to other postings I use JE pistons and carrillo con rods all works very well.
