R mint! Compared to my Konis they give a firm but smoother ride and make u feel more in control of the car IMO.

Thoughts & experiance welcome...

I'm well pleased with my KYB's :D

Using Eibach springs [ERRR] em and a front strut brace, not fitted rear brace yet :-?

What Konis did ya have ?

I had a Spax sport kit B4 but it was way too hard/harsh and also lowered it unevenly, levels were all over the place :aaah:

Just the usual Koni Sport shocks. Too hard for every day use but KYBs seem just as firm on the bends only smoother over imperfections in the road.

I think im gonna keep my rear Konis & put KYBs on the front. What d ya think? :Q

My Adjustable Koni's are superb, using Chassis Dynamic Springs.

I've also got KYB shocks and Eibach springs and I can't fault them. The problem is,things like ride quality and handling are very subjective,so what may be one man's firm ride could be another man's boneshaking teeth removing ride.

I say if you are happy with them thats all that matters

i got adjustable konis with eibach springs on the current car and I love it.

Had kyb on my first fiesta along with boge / sachs -40mm springs. Ride was bloody awful with 15's on but with steels on was a right laugh cause it was so firm. The si I had had std ford shocks with -35mm springs on (cant remember what make) and it wasnt as firm as the kyb/sachs setup but it was a less tiring drive. I think the setup i got now is about right for this car tho.

KYBs get tired very quickly and any drop lower than -40mm will destroy them very quickly.

Mine are shot; when new and for the first 6 months, they were a dream.

That said, I only paid £150 for the whole set (minus springs) so can't complain :)

give KYB a ring 01925 417444 to find out your nearest motor factor that stocks em

The part numbers you want are Front: 333823 and Rear: 341802

My fronts cost about £26 each

What the long haired poof forgot to mention is those are mk3.5 part numbers, will be different numbers for mk3 :P

I rate Maffs KYB/Eibach set up over my GMAX :oooh: :( KYB seams to have alot less bounce when hacking down country lanes and round corners  which gives you more control and comfort as your not being chucked all over the place like with my GMAX  I will be stealing his suspension, strutbraces, and Imolas next time his back is turned :)
