LHD Fiesta Turbo

Hey

I just got back to the world of ford rs, bought a old italien frst that was imported many years ago. The car has been standing for some years it seems, and the details about why the engine has failed, is blurry. The owner says he ran a superchip and 1 bar, or thats what he said. He even told me that tuning for more power was really easy, just plug in the chip and turn the boost WAY up...
Anyways it was cheap and there are no lhd fiesta in denmark as far as i know.. seen a red rhd though.
Going through a engine build now and hopefully it will be on the road by the next few weeks :)
Sorry for the bad pics, but my iphone was all i had at the time.

Desperetly needs orange front indicators.. and a ford logo.. and some modeo si wheels in black...

dont look bad in the pics.
not sure on black wheels on a black car thouigh, but im not a fan of black wheels full stop.

any more idea as to why the engine failed? going by what the the seller said to you about tuning it, i reckon he could of blown the head gasket from too much boost

Jayrs: Well the motor had been run at 1 bar boost, and I found 1 bearing for the rod (smallend bearing?) was really worn. head gasket was blown aswell.. plus the rust in the bores.

Michael: Can't lower it that much, going to be the everyday car and tbh the gf would kill the stainless if it was lowered that much :) Alloys.. well the reason I wanted to run si's was that i got a some 15's in BAD nick, but straight, lying around so it would be cheaper just to get some 15's and put them on.
