Looking for insurance quotes....(young driver help!)
OK,
im doing my test again in a few weeks (3rd time lucky) and ive been getting a million quotes as usual.
I just wondered if £1395 TPFT was good for a MK3 1.6 si?
Im only 20 with no no-claims etc... and no convictions in southport (good area i think lol).
Thats with liverpool victoria and quinn direct was about £200 more.
Anyone else thats good with cheap as chips quotes?

The 'Ice, Security & Insurance' forum would be a good place to start!
I'm 17 so should be paying more than you at 20, but my best quote on my on was £1250 (direct line) but thats on a 1.3. As it is I'm under my mums name, but as the main driver and my mum's not even listed as a driver, and it works out at just under £600 (direct line still).
£1400 doesn't sound like a rip off, but I'm sure you can get better.

I was just about to reply to this post... but then I realised I'm not young anymore!!!!
I pay about 400 quid fully comp for my Mini soft top (05 plate) and i've only been drivin 2 years. Tesco did the best deal for me.... and you get brakedown cover too!

I've gone with quinn but you say they're no good for you. I've had more expensive quotes than you on ur Si for my 1.1. Must be the age difference
Try Confused.com and moneysupermarket.com, they'll rettrieve you a bunch of quotes and put them in order from the lowest to highest.
Good luck witht the test, passed on my third the other day
