Lower 50mm or 60mm?
Am in a dilema of wether to lower 50 or 60mm? I want it low, and have had a fez lowered 60mm, but it scrubbed quite badly. Also had my old RS1800 van lowered 50mm, and it didn't scrub at all! What do people reckon? Pics would be apriciated Oh yeah, and i've got 15" rims with 195/45 tyres

I'd prepare yourself for "anything more than a 35mm drop is stupid" replies lol.

It's true though
Stick to 35 and enjoy a car that handles. The point of coilovers isn't to slam the car into the weeds. Typically to set coilovers correctly you only drop the car 20mm or so the rest of the adjustability is in large to allow for correct corner weighting.

If you want it for looks, drop it as much as you like.. and cut off bits of the arches to stop any scrubbing.
If you want it to handle well, keep it around the 30-35mm mark.. which still looks good.
Or just keep it standard, my rs1800 handles well on standard with good tyres

Re: Lower 50mm or 60mm?
Well mine's already lowered 40mm from what i can make out on the springs. I've just been round my parents house where the car is stored, and have had another look. I think i might take the general advice and stay as i am for now, as every time i look at it, it looks lower/higher? Will wait till i get my new wheels and go from there.
Cheers for the comments.

I have 60 mm lowering springs on mine and the only problem you will find is that you will scrub tyres rather often unless you buy the adjustable lower arms to sort out the geometry

Swap the springs for a set of 35's and I promise an improvement across the board. I done it back to back and I won't have another set of 60mm springs anywhere near the car. Mechanical grip is reduced as is driver feedback and the lack of travel left means the first bump you hit mid bend will put you straight through the local scenery.
