Postby dannyboy on Mon May 22, 2006 9:38 pm

Need a quick answer, is there different part numbers for xr2i and frst lower arms or is it a one size fits all, I know the steering racks are different so was just wondering :D

I *think* they are longer(?) for increased negative(?) camber!

Don't know if its really true but read someone here used the 1.1 lower arms to get less negative camber. :-?

The only way to get this is if the 1.1 lower arms are less wider than the FRST/XR2i ones.

Can anyone confirm this?

The std FRST/XR2i lower arms have 3 "nails" holding the end of the lower arm. non-FRST/XR2i only have 2. Now Fiesta Frenzy adjustable lower arms are originaly from Ford and moded and they have only 2.
Did Ian Howel used the non-FRST/XR2i lower arms? It would make sense since to get less negative camber you'll have to push the wheel in and with the std FRST/XR2i lower arms there would not be enough working space for this.

I hope that everybody understands my point of view
