Lowering Advise Appreciated Please!

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Stick with 16's - or slam it 35mm with 14's????

(*Bl1ng* Option) Your 16's may rub - but they are pimptastic!

Lowering Advise Appreciated Please!

Postby JonesyRS1800 on Mon Jun 26, 2006 3:32 pm

Hi all,

Had some kickass chassis dynamics 35mm lowering springs in my garage since my XR2i days, and recently re-discovered them!

I currently run 205/40/16's on my RS1800 (fitted using spacers) - which rub on the front arch covers when i turn at speed (not even high speed) - and certainly wouldnt go under the arches if I lowered it.

I should be able to get hold of some nice fezzy RS Turbo 3 spokes, if I lower 35mm with these (185/55/14 i think) will there be no rub at all...... EVEN if i have people in the back AND take a corner hard?

Any advise helpful, many thanks :)
