lowering damages drive shafts?

lowering damages drive shafts?

I heard that if you lower your car more than stay 30 or 40mm it wears your drive shafts out? :-? true? if so how much extra wear is it?

i've never had a problem with any of the cars and to be honest i've never heard of anyone else having this problem. relax.

I have been sitting about 60mm lower for about 3 years and my drive shaft is fine. (shame about the rest of it though)

As most people know my car is lower than average, its been like it for 3 years now and ive never had a problem with drive shafts only a cv boot split.

i think it only really makes much diff when you go silly bigger low, like 90mm on my mates r5, the shafts werent exactly mint before but after a year like that they were nailed! aswell as his wheel bearings :lol:

lol... so if u was me and u had to change shocks (mine are making a dodgy nocking noise) would u got 60mm?
