What tyres have u got on your wheels!!! if u need 25mm spacers with no lowering somethings well fobbed! they should be 195/50 maximum, or 195/45 ideally!
Most kits say they lower your car the same all round eg 35mm but i tend to find the front is always still a tiny tiny bit higher than the back. Think this is cos there will always be someone in the front, ie the driver(!) and the front also has to cope with the weight of the engine etc

u can have whatever you want. Tell him you don't want -25mm front and -40mm rear if u don't like the sound of that. Personally I don't think that would look good at all. I'd go for something like -35mm all round or even -60mm all round if you want to splash out on the shocks aswell. It all depends on what size wheels you've got and how far you're prepared to go with your arches!

dont really want to go anuwere with the arches
ive got 50 tyres as they last longer and have a better drive as well as handling better due to being directional and having more tread

i had a 60mm drop with 45's on the onion and it was real hard driving

My 45 profile tyres are directional, and have as much tread on them as 50 profiles.Surely the 45's would give better handling due to less sidewall flex?
When I fitted the alloys the ride was a bit bumpier, but not too bad.The ride after you lower it is going to be dependant on the kit you use to lower it.
BTW,why are you running 25 mm spacers?

I've got standard KYB shock absorbers and Eibach springs on mine.Mine's lowered 25mm,doesn't look especially low,but it's subtle.
It's all about how low you want to go really

the springs taker a while to sort of `bed in` so they will start orff higher anyway. the rear of the fiesta always sits 5mm higher than the front. dont know whether it would with new springs
