Lowering Springs

Postby Bordoy on Wed Feb 10, 2010 8:29 pm

Hi all

What price would you say is average for a set of 4 35mm lowering springs for a mk4 Fiesta. There's a set going on ebay for around £60 quid but i go on google and the first page has some going for £200ish. Are them £60 ones likely to be good enough anyway? Considering I'm not track racing.

Tbh mate -35mm drop on a mk4 fiesta isnt gonna be worth it, the mk4 doesnt respond very well to lowering ont he standard shocks

way i see it is -60mm on a mk4 is simialr in appearance to a 40mm drop on a mk3

i wouldnt drop it much less than 40mm even then there will be a sizable arch gap, i personally recommend -60mm

heres how mine sits, on standard shocks

£60 for brand new ones is pretty good, when i was buying i seent hem for a similar price, although id consider looking for used ones, from a reputible company like Gmax etc

mine were £30 used and a good make Apex
