Not updated for a while so will copy and past off another forum

Right todays update:

started out with one fiesta.....

Image

and one puma

Image

Getting access to puma rear struts

Image

And removed the rear beam :

Image

Image

How low the front was:

Image

i then forgot to take more pictures and it got dark!

we then removed rear beam off the fiesta and put in on the puma so the puma now was a powerfelx rear beam and is lowered 60mm, back is now level with the front haha

here is the picture of the rear lowered

Image

ignore the 2 different front wheels haha, been sorted now :p

today managed to get rear disks on the fiesta along with the handbrake, got the manifold off the fiesta to scrap and started stripping the fiesta more.

also went on a buying spree on the internet.

bought:

Pressed Plates
6000k HID kit
Led rings for a go at something ;)
12.5mm axel spacers
6000k bulbs for full beam
K n N pannel filter

just gotta wait for postman :)

tomorrow gonna strip the fiesta more and ill get some more pictures of the puma

UPDATE :

Image

that is allUpdate

Hid kit arrived
Axel spacers arrived
300mm front disks bought
Pads bought
Painted calipers red
Going to paint carriers black

fiesta developed an electrical fault, insurance on it became a joke, then this beauty poped up for £600 so i snapped it up!

the fiesta is currently on my drive, with no interior, no rear windows, no brakes, no wheels, no front end, bonnet, or wings haha.sold the whole front end to my mate who i then helped change his mk4 to a mk5, looks really good now. so it will still kind of live on.

hopefully getting coilovers for the puma very soon, then need to fit wishbones, and front brakes and will be looking at getting a rolling road to see what shes putting out, and maybe a remap, we will see tho!

project puma always gets a good turn out, but like ZSOC's stand, 1 puma in a patch full of them hardly stands out, for getting attention sake you'd be better off with this club :P

Can you confirm for me mate that the puma rear beam is a direct swop for the zetec s beam. I am having a bit of trouble locating a fiesta beam which isn't the other side of the country and it seems that the puma is everywhere. Cheers Julien :D

1998 saw a change in the mk4/puma beam

where the shock bottom mounts in the beam

earlier mk4 and puma ones were fit like a fork design, after that they went back to how the mk3 was, a round bush set up, thats how you can fit a zetec s beam to a mk3

so any puma on a S plate or later will have the same beam as the late mk4 and all mk5 fiesta's

careful though some S reg pumas may still have the fork beam, best off seing a picture of the beam

no thats the fork type

and SEVERLY over priced!

look behind the drums, you can see its solid, and houses a bush

the mk3 and later mk4/5 one will have a cut out and no bush, the bush is fitted to the damper itself

next time you under your RS have a look at its beam you will see what i mean, big hole for the shock to sit in

my puma came fitted with a eye mount rear beam but swapped it for a fork mount one so i could keep my old suspension.

if the car has digitial dials then it will have eye mount rear beam which is what you need :)

hopefully buying some coilovers this weekend :)
