MAF Sensor differences?

Postby Percy! on Wed Sep 08, 2004 1:04 pm

Just heard that the MAF sensor is bigger on the 2.0 mondeo than the 1.6 fiesta.

1, Is this correct?

2, Would it be worth changing to the mondeo one if it is bigger as I have a 2.0 engine? would the hoses fit etc?

Thanks

A 1.6 and 1.8 MAF sensor are different. The sensor is different, but the actual metal bit the air flows through appears to be exactly the same.

If you swapped the MAF, you'd need the ECU to go with it.
