Magnex badge - on or off?
13 posts • Page 1 of 1
I ordered a Magnex system for my Si today, but I'm not sure about putting on the little magnex logo on the tailpipe.I have had one of their exhausts before, but the badge only has double sided tape stuff on it,and it fell off.I superglued it back on twice before I sold the car.Is it cool just to have a stainless exhaust sticking out without the logo,or will ppl think I have got a cheapo nasty exhaust?

Dunno bout this one mate - probably depends on the size of the exhaust. on a large exhaust , say a 4" id put it on but if its only 3.5" or 3" then id leave it off.
All up 2 you tho matey - oh and you can tell by the sound if its cheapo mate

On my last car I only had a Magnex back box, it wasn't especially loud, but it did purr nicely.I was kinda hoping having the full system would make it a touch louder, never mind though.
As I said, the badge fell off a couple of times, luckily it always happened where I could find it again and stick it back on

Do what YOU think is best!
In tuning the main thought is 'to be different'. You want a car that nobody else has. So if you think it is a part of your 'creation' you put it on.
Ofcourse you always can ask fellow tuningmined people's opinion, if you think it's necessary.
It's your car!
