MAHLE Forged 86mm Pistons (Fiesta ZVH Turbo)

Good condition Mahle Forged Pistons they are 86mm with a 21mm pin so will fit standard size rods.

These mahle forged are made from a M124 (similar to 4032) alloy which has low expansion and piston to wall clearance can be as little as 0.04mm which I believe is quite a bit smaller than other brands require. They should last longer and be quieter (no piston slap) which is more suitable for a daily driver.

These are early C20XE Red Top pistons and are forged unlike the later ones.

They can be fitted to Fiesta ZVH engines and give a 7.5:1 CR which is ideal if building a turbocharged engine.

On a Zetec they give 8.9:1

They can be fitted to a Rover T16 engine and give a 9:1 CR on standard size rods. Although they can be machined down to lower compression if needed. Or you could have the block skimmed and have a higher compression ratio as these sit 2.07mm from deck on a standard T16 block
