making 1.1 faster
Ok this may sound lame to most of you but I am bored so I thought i would try to make my 1.1 faster.
So far i got only K&N.
I was thinking about upgrading the camshaft, de-catting, free flow exhaust and maybe making DIY induction kit?
Any suggestions?

Get a 2.0L in it
Honestly mate there is no scope to increase power on the 1.1 engine. The money you spend trying to make your 1.1 faster could of been put to better use buying a 1.6Si then dropping a 2.0 into that.

A: No money for SI
B: No money for insurance (1400)
C: No money for petrol
So I will be stuck with this for a while

Theres not a big difference in insurance between them. Prob cost you 1600-1700 for insurance on an Si.
All you can do is make a bespoke air filter/intake and full exhaust system. But gains will be extremely minimal
