Mallard green Si

I have a mallard green Si, which is a kind of pearlescent paint. It changes from green to purple when the sun comes out.

Does that mean respraying would be much more expensive for me than if my car was just metallic red for example?

What about if i wanted to spray some mirrors myself, could i go and buy a can of paint from halfords and get a reasonable result?

:???:

Mallard green or Tourmallard??

Cos the tourmallard is dark, until the light shines on it, and it shows bright green then.

TJ, i always presumed they were the same? It looks purple-blueish, but when the sum comes out it looks green. Did they make Si's in both colours????
