What sort of temperature does a frst manifold get up to?

Im asking as im looking at buying some vht paint to paint my manifold with but i need to know how temperature resistant the stuff is that i need to buy

Circa 900-1000deg celcius. Turbo's are rather warm when in full operation.

To be honest mate I wouldn't bother as the paint even the VHT stuff doesn't seem to last too long and soon looks messy. You could get the fanimold ceramic coated but I guess this may be expensive. Or good old fashioned heatwrap

most of the vht paints only seem rated up to 500 deg so seems they will be a waste of time.

Do you have any idea if coloured heatwrap is available?
