Master cylinder help - uprateable??

Postby Gadget on Tue Mar 04, 2003 4:04 pm

Hi people,

does anyone know if there is a master cylinder that will fit onto the fiesta servo, or a servo / master cylinder combination that i can fit to my frst to improve the pedal feel . Ever since i fitted the Jag x type calipers and 300mm discs, i have had some pedal travel, not exessive but enough to make it feel not quite right , i have adjusted the servo pushrod to take up the factory set gap which has improved the feel but not much. should i adjust the rod just a little further to compensate for a bit more travel or what?? i know there is no air in the system so have ruled this out, and i don't want to change the calipers as they are really really good, they just have such a big piston inside them and need more fluid displacement to push them faster!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
