The 1.3 CVH isn't that great really when it comes to preformance, out of my 1.1 i get around 80 on the flat, <br><br>you might want to try Re-Grinding your Valves and Changing your oil, to see if you get difference,<br><br>I think you should be able to get at least 90 out of yours <br><br>have you got 5 Gears or 4 ?<br><br>and it could be your Clutch slipping, <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/smile.gif"><br><br>hope this helps <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/smile.gif">

Yup, will reck your Engine in no time, and No it won't make your car any faster, it will make it slower, the reason you don't have a 5th gear is becuase you wouldn't go anywere with an Overdrive Ratio

My original (1991) 1.3 carb engine was good for about 105ish on a good day on the flat <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/smile.gif"> .<br>I put 15inch alloys on and according to the speedo i struggled to top 95 <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/frown.gif"> ! I was running 195/45-15 tyres. - the engine was a low milage full history one too! i had to loosen it up considerably tho <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif"> - the previous owners (all two of them) were women who just pootled about!

bigger wheels should give you a higher top end as they have a bigger rolling diameter?<br><br> <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/confused.gif"> <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/confused.gif"> <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/confused.gif"> <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/confused.gif"> <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/confused.gif"> <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/confused.gif">
