MDF False Floors for sale

Postby SimonT on Tue Sep 24, 2002 8:35 pm

I have decided to start making and selling MDF false boot floors.
I'm tired of being p'd off by local places trying to sell me a bit of plywood with some old carpet for £100!!

I can currently make them for:

Mk3 and 4 Fiesta's

Mk4 Escorts

I am also currently designing templates for the following models:

Focus (hatchback not booted)
Peugeot 106
Peugeot 205

Also, if your car is not listed and you are still interested let me know and I can hopefully sort something out for you.

Prices start at £30 Plain or £50 Carpeted (Black or Grey) + P&P other colours are available at extra cost.

My website will be up and running soon, but in the meantime I can be contact on:

how you gonna work around the access to the spare in the focus, i need a floor for mine but theres no point in gettin one as im not gonna be able to get to the wheel easy if i breakdown, the tools are in there too.

You got 3 options chap:

1) Dont use a floor!
2) Put on in regardless
3) Use the spare wheel as part of your install

If the focus needs access to the spare wheel have a hinged door etc so that the floor still looks flush. Also holes can be cut into the floor for subs etc if needed. Just an idea but it would work.

Because of the way they are made theres no need to anchor them down.

They are a well snug fit! :D

Postby LeeSi on Sun Apr 18, 2004 6:13 pm

To make one yourself get some wood, take out your boot carpet and use it as a template. Or is it not that simple?? :-?

Are these floors actualy raised off of the boot floor?

If they are not, then they are not false floors. A false floor is a MDF sheet cut to shape with blocks under it which raises it so you can install amps under it.
