Megasquirt arrived :)

Just been reading evertyhing I can posted by Asad about the megasquirt as mine arrived today... all very exciting and of course wondering what I'll manage to get out of her.

I replaced the RS1800 zetec with a 2.0 zetec. The head was whipped off when I got it and sent over to mr pumaracing... a long while later I've got the ported head back and she's all together. She really wasn't happy on the 2.0 injectors with the RS1800 ecu so I switched back to the RS1800 injectors - ran ok but felt quite flat.

So the megasquirt will be going in this weekend and then time to play... Apart from ported head, K&N and full exhaust system she is still pretty much a standard 2.0.. maybe cams next or perhaps tbs like Asad :lol:

oh sorry what i forgot to say was has anyone got a decent starting map? I think I already have a copy of asads original somewhere. Any other pointers etc muchly appreciated :)

Excellent, sounds like you've got a decent engine build there. I'd say Asad's your best man for the Megasquirt mapping.
