As I get home round half six, its too dark to properly finish this off.
So in the mean time I have been sorting out the fuel pipes and throttle cable bracket.
I'll post pics of the fuel piping later.
But here is how I managed to stick with the ford throttle cable
I started off with the bracket with the edge cut off:-
The lower corner was going to be bolted down:-
But as you can see, the cable does not line up properly with the bracket:-
So I made the hole for the second bolt :-
And I bent the bracket into place so that it would line up correctly :-
Finished product! :-
Oh and I also had to use a 8mm drill bit to enlarge the nipple hole slightly. Otherwise the Ford cable nipple wouldnt fit.
I tested it with the cable in place and it worked as it should! Not catching anywhere, and full throttle opening was achieveable.
Not much left but to bolt it all on. Roll on the weekend!

Was tuning it up last night....runs very sweet! Sounds amazing too!
I installed my Wideband O2 sensor too, made tuning sooo much easier.
Got a RR session booked tomorrow, so hopefully run even better.
As for a video :-

Right lets start from the top!
Here is the stub manifold fitted. I had all the bolts and gasket etc:-
This is with the TBs fitted. No injectors or fuel rail yet:-
You can see my modified throttle linkage. Fits well :-
Long shot:-
My injector rail with the 330cc injectors fitted:-
Brand new injectors:-
Fuel rail is on. You can see the fuel feed pipe at the top:-
And with all the fuel pipes plumbed in, as well as the loom :-
Close up. Wiring is a bit messy at the moment:-
How I made the fuel feed:-
And going to the fuel filter :-
And all on and running! :-
I have since tidied up the loom, fitted an oil breather in a cool location, and tidied up bits and bobs.
I have been tuning it as well, which has been made all the easier with the wideband sensor!
This thing is very loud now! Especially on full throttle! Pops and bangs like crazy, ive even seen it flame!
Will take some more pics of the breather and Wideband controller. Just got the ST170 exhaust manifold to go. And I need to fit an air filter somehow... i have a few ideas!

Lol i know!
The brake reservoir is leaking, so i'm looking to replace that with an escort one. That should take care of that.
Might keep an eye out for a new water bottle.
Battery will stay as it is! lol
Had a word with Power flow about modifiying the ST170 exhuast manifold I have and they wanted £325! Could get a ready made one for that!
Will see if I can do it myself. If not, ill just buy the correct one.
Cheers for all the comments!
