look jony i like your banter on here as much as the next guy but every post in here lately is becoming a slagging match or my willy is longer than yours exercise then your big bhp si gets mentioned and thats that. viscious circles.

i like your enthusiasm for fords and this forum but i feel your making yourself a target for most people at this moment in time.
all the best
clark :)

ps : if you wish to continue this please feel free to pm me rather than troll steve's thread

Thanks Clark - I did have some help from someone with a bit of pug/citroen knowledge, but it was fairly simple in the end after a few swear words!

Henry - the tyres are in my boot, they are off your wheels but with the recent wintery weather I didnt want to put them on if I had to use the car for some reason. Were also undecided which wheels to put them on, as we almost have a full set of rallye steels we could use as track wheels :Q

For everyone else - I will get some up to date on topic pictures some time this week while I'm off. I did plan on working on it today but somebody ran away with the key...

Finally got round to taking the car for a drive today. It performed quite well and i'm now looking forward to a track session or two!

Some pictures to show it does still exist...

So as you can see, it's very bare inside, and there's still a few bits to do - but it goes and stops, so i'm happy at the moment!

I haven't been driving it recently because i really don't like it without the dash (it looks extremely untidy for one)

The dash will be going back in before any long trips, along with an alcantara steering wheel.

Looks really good Steve, love the stance, I'd paint the wheels black

I remember driving my mates brand new one of these back in around 1996, It was a rapid little thing

as long as you've got good brakes and a decent suspension you'll have a blast at Combe, all the fun is in the corners
