Clutch ratchet has given up again after only 2 months! used a cheap pattern part...neva again. Should i get the ford item or could any one tell me where i can get a metal clutch ratchet. I keep hearing about them. Has anyone got one? Where can you get them?

does a mk5 rs2000 clutch pedal and ratchet fit?
this pedal does`nt use a ratchet

Dunno my ford one only lasted 6 months B4 it started clicking again, changed the pedal bushes too

hmmz.. common Fiesta (ford) problem ..
just changed mine.. was in there for 10 years..
changed it for an original one..

had the same problem before..

guess it works fine for around 60kmiles

right then just do away with the self adjusting ratchet, ford did a
conversion on the late mk3 fiesta 94-96 that made the adjusting mechanism manual which i have on my fiesta due to the trouble i had with my ap four paddle clutch so you can adjust the pedal to where ever you desire by turning a nob which locks the small toothed arm in position i will post the finis codes later once i find the receipt

spot on m8 ur heard about it aswell sorted my clutch no end also the part that the small paw hits against u have to cut off the part where the number ten is pointing too

It locks the toothed part in place.. so that the pie-piece shaped (don't know the exact english word for it) part will stay in the selected position..

the standard clutch ratchet is self-locking.. and disfunctions every once and a while (-:
