Re: My ZS! Developments...
DEFINITELY KEEPING IT NOW!
i get paid in two weeks, so its going satin black.
will upload pictures of me replacing the trackrod.
you've seen the body work, will post plans for interior soon as well.
had a brianstorm and im a happy girl now
EDIT:
What are the best cheapish tyres? like ones that handle as well in the wet as they do in the dry, ones that will stick to the road when i avoid foxes and what not?
and what colour should i do my alloys ?

Re: My ZS! And Now To My Wheels?...
Different people will have different opinions on tyres. Depending what your budget is of course and depends what profile tyres you want.
If you are running 195/50/15 which is standard on them wheels, I would personally say from previous experience Yokohama Parada Spec 2's. When they did the 45 profile version of the spec 1's I used to have them, and they was superb in all weather conditions. The spec 2's are meant to be even better
Currently though, im running some cheap nankang ns2's. I read alot of reviews about these as a budget tyre and they had many good reviews, I didnt test them to their limit in the wet the other day but they sure didnt slip out on me when I did go a little too fast around a corner under braking lol, and in the try they handle very well too. For a budget tyre, they do the job perfectly. But obviously they arent going to be as good as the more expensive tyres.

Totally disagree with that. I know many people who use spec 2's and they are beyond good in the rain. Even on slippery country roads.

Toyo proxes tr1's, about £40 a corner in 195/50's. Good tyre wet and dry

i used to have toyo proxes on my old xr2i - very good grip tyre but very soft compound meant they wore down sharpish

tbh going by your money situ the cheapest option would be to do a home refurb job on them.
get a nice sunny day, wheel off , let air out , mask up , rub down , metal filler , rub down , primer , rub down , paint , more paint , wet flat , paint , then laquer
wala !

Re: My ZS! ???
sold my alloys,
got £90, that and what i got paid is helping me get it ready for an mot.
got some pictures will upload when im done, its not to a decent standard yet, but id like to think that im slowly getting there.
inexperience and the lack of a stereo is slowing me down though, im still only learning about what im doing

Re: My ZS! My Car Looks Like A Car Again BOOOYAHHHHH
i have had a BUSY day
started like this
as it was nice, and i was free i decided (yet again) to stop feeling sorry for myself and actually get something done.
so i made a list (another one) and cracked on, end result is, (minus a headlight) i have a car which works and looks like a car, a sh!t car, but a car non the less!
this is the begining
the crackkkkkk
(having no seats really hinders driving)
no radio !!!!!
Sideskirts!
all in all im proud of my work today
oh, but the battery died and now its suck on my tiny drive!
