Re: My ZS! tidying up + pictures
my jobs the same
soooo, with the bad news, ive decided to get a few little jobs that i want doing out of the way before the major work starts i.e
calipers + drums... satin black
rear bumper strip
ran out of paint so this happened
some little fude packing, no life, no teeth, no sense c**t decided to graffiti on my wing, its pretty awesome graffiti, im glad they ruined something that took me fooking hours to do, i left it round the corner from work, and in broad daylight, nothings fudgekin sacred any more
left
and right sides de striped for colour coding too...
phat camber
and this brand new tyre, not dont 500 miles...
still unsure about what engine im going to go for, theres so many to choose, and loads of my mates want me to go with a puma lump, but i dunno im on the lookout for a like engine, that i can just get right in there
saying this, is there any difference between a silvertop and blacktop zs engine?
uninsured now, so work starts next payday (11 days away )
tips/tricks and well wishing needed please guys!

Starting stripping the c**t today, back seats out andd a few other interior bits, going to get the engine out Thursday, might not be as bad as first suspected, sourced a blacktop anyway
I'll get some pictures up of progress when there is some haha!

Re: My ZS! tidying up + pictures
your tyre is worn on one side down to your tracking fella.
have u had it re tracked since fitting the new track rod end ?
regards to wing ... im guessing they bolt on with zetec s ?
if so unbolt it get all stickers off and take it to a fairly good street sprayer. they will proberly paint it for £65 - £80 for a good job inc baking it on.

if you want my advice leave it off the road till you done msot of that list, or it wont get done, in my experience atleast lol
like you said work and college aint "too" far of a commute, cycling 6.5miles to college aint the worst thing for your health

Re: My ZS! Unhappy Brian!
Well I've cancelled my insurance and cashed in my tax
It'll be in the garage until at least august I think... I've planned it that way anyway haha, we'll just have to see how it goes.
Hopefully my next update will include some real progress

Re: My ZS! is going matte black
nah that above is way to flat and dull to be satin, satin shimmers slightly
i cant stand some cars done in matt/satin
ruins a good car imo
and unless you sand it smooth for hours, its quite unreversable too

Re: My ZS! OMFG! i actually have a decent update ;D
right soooooo,
ive bought many parts these include... bottom arms, rod ends, back lights, rear strut brace and some new tools... the list is actually mahoosive
and because i like to do things before i think about them rationally my front bumper is now matte black! picturezzzzz >
i love it! and im sure some will be glad to see this go too...
the wings following suit and going black tomorrow :D:D:D:D:D:D
im sure you can tell that i am moar than please with this
also may have found a blacktop close to home, next update will be: subframe off and painted and cleaning my interior
