Michael's Satin Black Project; roof art
I don't mean this to sound out of line, but I think you need a plan and to stick to it rather than doing random stuff because you're bored or angry. It always, always leads to a messy heap that nobody knows what to think, including the owner.
Although I think the idea is cool (Matt/gloss pattern) the Fiesta isn't a Japanese car.
I think you need to sit down and make a plan. What are you aiming for? Scene whore, OEM, or something else...?

why dont you just put it all backtogether make it roadworthy and use it as your saving for paint probarbly be cheaper plus you wouldnt have the pain of listening to a tappy hcs every day

Re: Michael's Satin Black Project; Probably the most sense...
i made a plan, i sat down and i decided to stop messing about.
because messing about if for fools, i need to be mature where money is involved...
im going to make a build thread because of my plans, its going to be by no means a fast moving project, it'll probably take me about a year, butttt im hoping that the end result will make me proud, i've decided this because its just sat getting no further and i basically need a car to drive, and because im always on early shifts i have most of the day to do nothing now im out of college, so having a project car seems the best way to help me handle my frustration/what ever else you want to call it.
im going to list my plans, along with a dont/not done status... my aim is to now be at ford fair with this piece of s**t next year, and id like positive comments even if you dont like because im a moody c**t haha!
hope you guys will help me along the way too!
My plans are as follows; (and are going to be stuck too!)
Replace the steering rack
Finish the bodywork, i.e the s**t filler/fiberglass bits and completely matte black it
Refit Interior and replace drivers door card
Black Ph2 Alloys
New Windscreen
Polybushes for front arb and rear beam
New arb droplinks
Coilovers.
New pads and discs (front)
Rear tinted windows
MHW's
Smoked front lights
Clear side repeaters
Aircon regassed
Rs turbo bonnet vents (fiesta)
Uniroyals
this is the start, comments and critisisms welcome as usual. when i get back from chester ill decide where to make a start and fudgekin stick to it

Re: Michael's Satin Black Project; Probably the most sense...
never seen a mk5 with rst vents will look good i think . why matt black tho kind of love hate thing i think but i personally dont like it you could just as easily do any other gloss paint in 2pac paint . everything else sounds good , if its gonna be a project car why not strip it and put a bigger engine in

So this one will be a wreck in a few weeks too?
If you leave it standard and bear with it, you might be able to sell it once you don't need it any more.

Re: Michael's Zetec S now breaking
as title says, all standard parts available, ill make a for sale ad when i have everything off it and pictures.
reason being, its going to be more economical to buy a new one and im going to be a lot less stressed, plus i havnt even been arsed with it for 2 months now, i cant stand it looking sorry for itself...
