Postby knuckles on Thu Mar 25, 2010 1:03 am

For a while now i have been seeking a welder to do some work on my cars.

a friend of mine had a mig 150 laying around so i bought some argon/co2 gas, new tips and new 0.6mm wire and gave it a go myself.

I love welding, but I need to get myself a MIG - only got an ARC at the mo.

This website (and the forum) is really handy if you haven't seen it already: http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/

It's fun isn't it :D
I spent hours and hours practicing when I got mine all set up. Got some pretty awesome looking welds by the end of it if I do say so myself :D
Doing it outside on a car at a funny angle is a whooolllleee different story though
