-Give up on cars tbh, you dont appear to get on well with them.
-Why post on a public forum if you cant take the critisism?

Aside from that i doubt the bushes are the cause of the steering issue, most mk3's will have lower arm bushes like that, those on my mk5 were too

Just a quick point, fitting lower arms is routine servicing. Modifed or not, suspension components wear on any car.

If fitting arms is too hard for you, then no way should you even attemp to do an engine conversion.
Leave repairing cars to the pros.

well seeing as my successor is well and truely off to a blinding start, i may leave this forum thinking i no longer am needed    :bonkers:

mike, all seriousness, i neednt say anything to add, as basicly its all be said...

why dont you try take them 2 sets of arms BACK, get a refund (failing that sell them on ebay, theyre new still... no excuses to grab some money off them)

get the CORRECT arms, fit them, make FF... see and gather a world of inspiration, attention to detail, the buss, vibe and atmosphire of all thats great about modifying and maintaining (even standard) fords...

after all... am i right in saying this would be your first show (or FF atleast)

trust me making FF your first show, is one hell of a good starts, theres no show like it, the single only downside to FF is its SOOO jampacked you cannot fit it all into 1 day :aviator:

now please, grab your toys, stuff them back in the play chest, fit a pair of lower arms,, and drive the fudgekin thing to silverstone!!!

( and watch me and others hammer our poor fiestas round track,, wayne in particular is a one hell of a good watch...)

Silverstone is easy, due to the fact the circuit is so wide and you have loads of room to play with. You will be doing between 100-120 at points and not even realise it either. It's nothing compared to combe in the way that combe FEELS fast and is relatively small and tight if you know what I mean. Plus the track is lovely and grippy too :)

aye well you attack combe like its just killed your dog, you going on silverstone then?

if you are take videos!!!

danny, you been round combe? its wide as hell
i hit 105-110 up the "straight" of combe, gets sketchy at the right hander up the top :oooh:

am looking forward to going round silverstone though, biggest thing that worries me is, they overtake on the left not the right like combe has :(

Not going on around track this year, I don't have enough money to otherwise I would as I love driving around silverstone.

Combe is wide yes, but in comparison to silverstone its not that wide. You'll see how much room you have to play with when you are out there. Don't worry about the over taking on the left, it seems more natural to do it that way around silverstone. Plus the only place you can overtake it down the straights and they are pretty damn long too!
