You'd have to get an exhaust place to make up some pipe by the looks of it.

Just get a normal 1.6/1.8 zetec manifold for now. They are both exactly the same and cheap enough to pick up im sure!

cheers man, yeah jony text me and said id have to have it sorted.

so far ive found a brand new downpipe on ebay for £40 posted so im going to that.

so far now ive got the Rs1800 engine, ecu, loom etc... stainless mid section and backbox. ordering that down pipe off ebay, hopefully getting a radiator off someone on here.
so thats it pretty much i should have all parts ready for saturday this week and then i can sort it by ford fair and have a fun drive down!

looking at brakes currently, thinking about sticking with the 240's but getting grooved (vented) rs turbo disks and some ferodo pads as my experince with them has been pretty good.

anyone got opinions re brakes?

Take a crow bar and/or a baseball bat. Break a few fingers if he doesn't give you the stuff, then move onto things like knee caps. That'll make him get your stuff. Take a mate or two with you too, just to be on the safe side.

I would never advise violence or agrivated assault. Posting it on the internet is even more unadviseable becuase if something does happen
means and motive. also anyone who advised such action can be seen as having a hand in it.
Personally I'd go to the local police station report the theft give a statement and keep cool
calm people solve problems, agression and violence breeds violence

No it's not.

"taking property belonging to another with the intention of permenantly depriving the other of it"

Bet the guy isn't planning on keeping it. Especially as he has said to go and get it, even if he is stalling

Civil matter, but if you have a key, just go and get it.

When did he say that? Only earlier did you say he was stalling?

If he's sold it, it's theft. If he hasn't, it's not theft and it becomes civil.

Onwards from that, how much does your insurance go up with the new engine? Must be quite a drop from the 1.1 to 1.8! You'll be in for fun and games with DVLA llama, they're crap at anything like this

He's just messin me about saying all sorts. My insurance goes up £45 a month, making it a touch under £200 but it's worth it and I can easily affor it. It's cheaper than an actual rs1800 too :)

No it's not. Like I highlighted in bold, unless be plans on permenantly keeping them, it's not theft. That is the definition of theft... Trust me.

Just because he is refusing, doesn't mean he plans on keeping them, he could just be playing the t*** until he gets something in return, or if he sells them, then it becomes theft.

Finished arguing?

Wouldnt bother with the standard frst/xr2i brakes, they arent good, and grooved/drilled/vented etc make such a neglegeble difference you would be better off spending the money on fiesta st brakes as they are very good
