MISSFIRE AFTER CHANGING INLET MANIFOLD

changed my inlet manifold from a 105psi xr2i to a RS1800 although i have a matching injector rail from the RS i didnt change them because injectors had same codes / numbers on them. Is there a difference in size or shape, if so would this explain why after fitting the manifold i have a nasty missfire from the car?

i used the same gaskets and changed the idle control valve, sparks and leads should be fine. i changed the manifold back to the original 105psi one to try and reolve this missfire and still it does it im kinda lost for ideas? anyone help, my only guess is that i have an air leek or something maybe from a damaged gasket but im really unsure? HELP

Are u sure u put the sparkplug cables on in the correct way ?

Did you use a new inlet manifold gasket?

I rekon you might have an air leak(Have faith in your own diagnosis) at the inlet manifold, you should really use new gaskets every time you remove it also check all hoses and vacuum pipes :D

New inlet gasket from fords is about £17
