Missing Plug

Postby iemke on Tue May 14, 2013 8:49 pm

Hey guys I have just replaced the head on my 1800 and was plugging back everything but I am missing the multi plug for either the idle control valve or the power steering plug. I cant seem to find the other plug at all so im wondering what would happen to my power steering if i dont have a plug to go in it??

Not much. The plug on the PAS pipe green sensor/switch thing is just so the ecu can lift the idle up slightly when the wheels are on full lock and straining the pump. I've never noticed it working before!

Was everything plugged in before? The PAS plug is shorted in normal circumstances so if its missing the idle will be constantly high.
