Mk1 FRS brakes on a FRST
Rite here goes, seeing as I always do things the fukin hard way ive bought a full set of Focus RS Mk1 front & rear brakes to go on my Fiesta but im having a bit of a dilemma with weither I can squeeze them inside a set of Mondeo 16" as I haven't purchased the discs or wheels yet cos if they don't fit I don't want to be stuck with them & by fuk I aint going to 17" rims but I was thinking if I had too id maybe use the st170 discs to squeeze em in instead as they are 300mm x 24mm & the RS's are 324x28mm & the 4mm disc width difference is negligable, im sure someone must have came across this before & any help would be awesome! tho tbh id love to stick with the RS discs

You have to take a little bit off the calipers but they do fit under some 16s. Been done on a mk2 fiesta.

i was going to try to put mk1 rs brembos on with 300mm x 28mm willwood discs and its not happening so going to use the willwood calipers i bought with the discs id wondered about 406 coupe discs as there 304mmx28mm but never tried but this is all so i can use 15" wheels

406 discs do go on with frs brembos how ever there is one thing to be aware of the calipers sit out quite far so when i went to refit my escos calipers the caliper touched the spoke of the alloy so i sold them and got some wilwoods which where narrower in other words there quite fat if that makes sense lol
