Mk1 FRS - Winterised! (01/11/14)
Re: Mk1 FRS - FINISHED!!!... (28/05/14)
Update, ITS ALIVE!!! Absolutley over the moon!
Finally got it back to the ground last night, then turned it over with the coilpack disconnected to re-lubricate everything, then re-connected it and it started on the first push of the button! Ran it for a good half hour and tested all the electrics and A/C and all works fine! All that is left is a wash, a tax disc, wheel alignment then the open road!!

Thanks Mark, I'm absolutely delighted!
Next is a bl*ody good clean, then take it to get the wheels re-aligned, then drive it and enjoy it over the summer
Then next winter I will be doing the rest for the resto (from the front wheel arches forward)
Wanted to do it as two separate projects so I could use and enjoy it this summer and so it wasn't as daunting when I started!

Re: Mk1 FRS - Wheels aligned... (05/06/14)
Took it to get the wheels re-aligned today. First drive of the year, thoroughly enjoyed it! Forgot just how much attention these cars get!
The guys at the garage were all over it too, and one of them said they get 14 plates in that arn't as good as mine underneath, makes all the work seem worthwhile

I cant believe you washed it bud,
I never realised you did enough miles in it to get it dirty

Actually did about 1000 miles in it this year, might have to keep it off the road for a couple of years now to make up for it....
