Right so buying the mohags I posted earlier didn't go to plan soand yesterday I ended up buying these ally cats. Got them for £150 with brand new tyres. The wheels themselves are near minty mint condition due to being on a track. When I picked them up the centers were painted in blue and the dish was polished. I tried them for a day with the blue and just wasn't keen, so today I went to halfords and got some "Ford Solar Gold" I masked off the dish and the spraying began. I managed to get one wheel done, so now im driving round with 3 blue wheels and 1 gold wheel

How they looked when I got them:

On the car:

Didn't wanna get black lung like Jonyb4:

My set up:

Solar gold:

Finished, The lip, dish and tyre need wiping over with thinner but you get the idea:

TO BE CONTINUED....

I did 3 coats of colour in the end. The second picture is a truer representation of what they look like in real life. The blue was nice and the paint job was good but they just didn't suit he car.

Well I bought the Allycats off my mate who had the Mk1 Fiesta... I've got the rear ones but still not the fronts. Sounds stupid but we can't get the fronts off. Someone tightened them too much. Tools have broken trying to get them off... Blah, blah, but still can't get them off. I just want the full set NOW so I can ride slow, wide and low. :Q

Car picture together sounds great! :Q I know a guy that has an awesome camera and that does cheap photoshoot pictures if your willing too meet up soonish when the car is on it's arse too have a joint local shoot? Awesome photo's. Roll on FITP and FF!

Ah that happened on my brothers (fiend) we got the wheel off in the end took ages and loads of brute force. Unfortunately I have no suggestions on how to get it off apart from maybe go to a garage and see what they say?

Yea a photoshoot would be cool but il take the pictures. Might as well put my photography degree to use

Ohhh I know your Brother. I bought my Recaro's off him. Yeah well, the Mk1 is not in a suitable condition for driving so, yeah I'll have to have brute force and anger onto it.

That's great... Sorry, didn't know you were a photographer. We shall meet soon and let your degree kick asss. :Q

EUFez - Have you tried loosening all the wheel nuts and lowering the car to the ground? This can sometimes break the seal between the back of the wheel and disc. You can also try turning the steering wheel when the car is on the ground and pushing it forward a little.

Just remember to put some grease on the back of the wheel/disc when you put them on, so they don't get stuck again.
