mk2 fiesta slammed
well im new to fiestaturbo and i thought i put photos up of my car. some of you may know this car from a while back and its still going and up in sunny aberdeenshire. well i have copied and pasted what i have done from anoother foum. the car is a 1988 mk2 fiesta ghia in gold 1.1.
3 years ago:
as i got it:
A wee update i had a slight issue with a tyre coming off the rim mid corner and hit the bank. Damage is not bad but ill need wait and save money before i get its fixed.
On the other hand i got the xr2 home for spares and will be swapping bits tomorrow.
Heres the pictures
Another wee update! Changed the interior today from the xr2. Sooo much more comfortable.
also i couldn't find any headlight protectors as they are like hens teeth! I was wanting to put yellow film over them but decided to just do it over the headlights as i have a spare set. Still undecided about them but i think it will grow on me!
Also fit original orange indicators as they look better than the clear ones it came with.
Also i gave it a good clean today since as it was a nice day.
Next on the to do list is to get the wheels refurbished. Heres the pictures.
had to change the exhaust as it was a little bit worn through also got the engine out of the xr2 for bits for the zetec conversion. also removed the spax suspension as it was like new.
thats it for now but i will be updating

That's my old ghia I bought it standard and did all the work to it. When I sold it, it was lower than that I'm sure. I sold it with orange indicators and head light protectors with yellow tint so god knows where they've gone. How much did you pay out of interest? Pm me if you want.

Re: mk2 fiesta slammed
I remember him saying he crashed into a BMW so that when the bits probably got smashed. It's a shame he didn't look after it. I was a bit gutted when I found out he had bought it for his first car.

Re: mk2 fiesta slammed
The door actually popped out! The paint has cracked so it will need sorting. However it needs a front panel and a pair of wings as they are rotton at the bottom but will change them during the winter. Also a small dent in the sill which can be pulled out. Also a couple of small rust patches in few other areas. The chassis leg on the passenger side has a hole but a patch can is easy fix it apart from that its solid!

Yes says me.
I only wanted rid because It needed simple work.
The guy blatantly didn't care about it. Where as I do and still have it.

It will be looked after its going into the garage at the end of the month for winter as the tax tuns out. Ill be keepin an eye on the bodywork for now as i am on apprentice wage i would rather have the whole car done at once at the rear arches are starting to go. I will also be changing the engine as it getting to rattly at the top end and the gearbox is crunching in second but i still use it for now. Ill be going to fast ford at crail this sunday. Ill be putting the roof rack on for that and a picnic basket!
