im interested in converting a mk2 xr2 to automatic for my girlfriend, she cant drive 5spd and has no deisre to learn, i assume i would just use a auto box from a mk3 or 4 escort and bolt it up remove the clutch pedel from inside the car.

any idea what other bits would need done so i can judge if its worth it or not
