put a set of these on it!

you should be getting around 115bhp, do the usual - camshaft, gas flowing head, etc, etc. zorst manifold, full s/s system and u should be getting around 130bhp, in a little shell will beat an RST!

twin carbs will set u back around £150, but the main cost is the copious quantity of petrol that will get used up, u will get around 10-15 miles to the gallon! which aint cheap if u use the car regularly.

Pop a FRST in, uprate the intercooler, chip it, change the boost hoses to Samco, get powerflow to make you a phat zorst. Good for 160 easy.

Oh that's what I've got!
does my big look arse in this?

when i had my xr2 i done a bit of tinkering under the bonnet ,
i put a 1900 american block on it
piper fast road cam,
gas flowed head,
twin 40 dcnf's,
turbo low compression pistons,
magnex 4-1 manifold and system (which made a fair difference),
escort turbo slip diff box clutch and flywheel
and tha's bout it really apart from a set of escort cossie 16's and panique bodykit resprayed in blue/green flip paint :aviator:

saying that this car has only done 20,000 miles since new !
Weren't cheap mind u

But... why would you want to lower the compression on a N/A engine?
