Do you know how to link your photos to your post here ?
Copy the img code from photo bucket then paste it to your post.
Then pic will appear here instead of a link.
Your car is missing a front bumper. Looks very clean

Re: My new mk2 fiesta!!
Yeah its a pop plus, i do have the front bumper but it aint attatched so i need to see if i also have the bolts. Since takin these pictures i have done the wing the same as the bonnet, so then it'll be shiny red oxide!! so it looks like thats what i'm doin today, what a way to spend a week off work!! Lol. And yeah its quite tidy but has a bit of rust in the boot floor and battery tray!! the interior is a bit ropey but once i have recaros i wont care!! I am thinking of doin either an xr2 engine as its a straight swap (ish) or a zetec 1.8-2.0 and runnin them off bike carbs??

Re: My new mk2 fiesta!!
And yeah i like the mk3!! Its quite tidy as well, has just started to rust around the front of the arches and a lil bit on the scuttle!! it also needs a n/s wishbone for the mot!! I had been told it was hawiian blue but it could be calypso as i'm not an expert lol. I will put some pics of both fezzers up later but i warn people the mk3 does have a purple furr headlining, this is due to the fact that my sunroof clogged itself and leaked everywhere which ruined the origional lining!! so i went for the maddest thing i could think of!! Lol.

Here is a couple of pics, photobucket is being gay and wont let me upload some!!
Got 1 of mine n my mates mk3's together
I found the mk2 bumper, its a bit bent and rusty but i might take both bumpers off, straighten them out and spray them gloss black anyways.
Just tryin to get some other pictures to upload!! They r mainly of the bad bits of the mk2 and some random 1nes of the mk3!!

Re: My new mk2 fiesta!!
well the popular part is just another way of saying they shat them out like cheap china made toys
the plus part means they had a clock, fag lighter and fancier looking trim compared to a regular popular
and trust me, my popular has feck all, so ive fitted a XR2 dash and steering wheel in, my Si is fully loaded so a base spec car got on my nuts lol

The cheapest you'll get coilovers is £450 for a set of gaz's.
This is my current MK2, it's on 50mm springs with 2 coils cut off all round:
This is one of my old MK2s on 50mm springs with a coil cut off the front springs:
This is the same gold ghia on gaz coilovers:

Man I miss Jamie's Mk2!
Love your Mk3, always liked that colour, and in a five door.
Jony, let's not get into this again. There's NOTHING wrong with cutting the springs. Until someone has died or got hurt, it's perfectly fine.

Re: mk3 ghia, si bumpers now fitted!!
The si bumpers are on!! The rivets were easy to overcome but i now have 2 holes i don't need in the number plate!! They r shiny black still atm as i havent got time 2 get them sprayed yet!! I will get pictures eventually. Quite a few people have said they like the colour, what colour is it?? Apparently its too light for calypso blue?? Any1 got any ideas what wheels would look good?? I like rs500 wheels or capri laser/rs2000 wheels, but they all seem expensive.

I agree with him again! Nothing wrong with them, not like anyone uses them on track, just wanted a low car!
Get some rs500 wheels or 5 door shark tooths they'll look the balls!

cutting springs is not fine lol, seating in the cut is tampered with, the weight load they can handle will be reduced, and they are more likely to snap from being weakened
