A few pictures in the daylight, one of the fogs has obviously leaked in the past and has some rust inside, I'm hoping I can sort it. If not I'll probably get some new fogs to fit to these brackets!!
Image
Also note the rust starting to appear on the bottom of the valance, seems to be only surface rust but is still worse than I thought :(

I am liking it too!! They make me smile down country roads now being like daylight at night!! I'll probably have to find some new fogs I reckon as the rust makes one slightly brighter than the other!!

They're not foglights, they're driving lamps - supposed to come on with the high beam.

Front end looks good!

Tbh I normally call them spots not fogs. Mine are wired up to a switch as this it how my old fogs were attached on the is bumpers, was just easier to use the wiring that was already there :)

Seems revvier than my old 1.3 but is still slower!! If I could find a decadent car bed cvh I'd probably settle for that instead of a zetec!!

Do the Zetec.

CVHs were OK, and I'd still like to build a 1.3 CVH turbo just to see how well it goes before it goes bang  but the Zetec offers so much more for your money. They're reliable, they take a lot of abuse, they're easier to find and replace, and everything's there to make one pop straight in.

CVHs are few and far between now, most of them are well past their best, and you'll be pretty bored quickly.

Stick a 2.0 in it :D

Ideally I'd like a rotten si or other mk3 with a 1.6 zetec, so I'd have all the pipes, loom, exhaust rad etc off that, then swap the water pump and oil pickup to a 2.0 engine. Then all I'd need is a HO inlet and mondeo ecu?? Plus also some serious electrical luck to wire the si loom to my interior loom, unless it's easier to take the dash out and swap the lot?? Oh and brakes. And a clutch. And arb's!! List gets longer :(

It annoys me too!! It needs another screw as one is so f**cked you can't screw it in or out, it's actually level, just not wound in very far on one side so it looks wonky!! :(
