There aint much rust on the whole car tbh i like my car now but wheels would make it look so much better and i hate the poo pipe on the back oh and my exhaust appears to have collided with a speedbump of some kind and it rattles again!! :s

Mine is in good nick though and i have 3 million stickers on the window, if i smoothed mine i'd probably smooth over the plate too and relocate it on the bumper. I think i'll keep mine but good luck in finding 1!! Trouble is most of them left are off a mk3.5

U got any pictures of the wheels?? And where r u located?? And thanks mate, yeah i would take the side strips off but they always have horrible glue that you cant get off underneath. Lol. I could cover them i guess?? Some kind of experimenting might b needed!!

Mate the glue will come STRAIGHT off using just petrol and a rag

Simply dab on so as to wet the glue, will go like gell texture as it starts to react, then using a filler spreader(plastic one) gently scrape the excess off, then wipe over the top with clean damp pettied cloth.

Rinse/clean pettie residue off then Flat, compound, and polish to soften the fading from where the mouldings were

Fraggle, i might try this, i'm only worried cos my mate did it on his polo and it took some of the paint with it, i dont think i'd have to polish it much because the grey is under the plastic so i cant really polish that :0 a thing that will stay on is the ghia badge, cos i like it
