Yeah saw you lot parked up on the side of the road. Got a 2.0 in mine :) The si bumpers look alright on the car! :)

Silvertop in mine. I think the bumpers blend in quite well. If you was to colour code them, I would get rid of all the black on the doors ect too.

Yeah i like them in black but i might go for a satin as they have a few scratches anyways!! I'm thinking of doin an engine conversion but i dunno if i'll get the time cos i use the mk3 every day!! :(

Nah mate they were on a mate's car that he no longer has. The ones I have are darker, look good and I was gonna keep them when I was thinking about having black wheels but now going with white lol

shinea torch on them lights, if you can still see the reflector theyre good for an mot, and obviously the lights need to be seen too :P

nice looking 'si'... in regards to the lights, i had some professional tinted, baked rear lights and never had an issue once. i just made sure i swapped them over to my originals for mot but apart from that it was sound :)

Yeah it was the reflectors i was wondering about. I am tempted by them tho. Thanks for allthe comments from people sayin they like the car. :) just been out for a drive with my mate in his mk3, you can have so much fun on windy roads, specially when u have the same car!! :D

I have seen the thread for the 1 with the nes in the glove box?? Lol. Yeah i love my car until things go wrong, especially thigs that havent been off in 22 years and take ages to undo!! :( lol. I wann do an engine conversion too but i lack confidence in myself somewhat. But meh.

Old bolts are always fun! Anything that needs working on - just soak it in wd40 the night before and it should help.

Engine conversions aren't that scary :)

Well its only really the electrics side of it that worries me. But some1 told me an xr2 engine will pretty much fit straight in?? Cos its also carbed and the mounts r the same??

Danny is wrong, they are the scariest thing ever! lol joking but in all fairness i was/am a complete numpty when it comes to mechanics (danny has had it first hand) but its just one of them things. took me 2 years to get the balls to buy everthing, then another year to get started :P still not theere yet but by all means do it! i know it will be worth it :)

think you might need a different box though buddy!

you can use your gearbox with the xr2 engine, top end will be naff though... be quicker off the mark :)
