Michael! :you can use your gearbox with the xr2 engine, top end will be naff though... be quicker off the mark :)

Long as it does a ton i aint bothered!! I have enough points as it is!! Lol.
ben17southport :Danny is wrong, they are the scariest thing ever! lol joking but in all fairness i was/am a complete numpty when it comes to mechanics (danny has had it first hand) but its just one of them things. took me 2 years to get the balls to buy everthing, then another year to get started :P still not theere yet but by all means do it! i know it will be worth it :)

think you might need a different box though buddy!

Yeah i am in a similar state. I know i can do it i will just have to learn how ad i go along!! Lol.

oh well if you're not wanting to use too much fuel i would source a gear box, as the 1.1 box would re pretty high at 80 :/

The recaros are such a great addition! I couldn't be without mine in my fez hahaha

Make sure - if you're leaving the rear seats out thy you remove all the seatbelt attachments and belts. Because of you get caught without seats and the fittings still there you can say goodbye to your license.

Vosa bent me over Danny, when I stripped out my zetec s for a weekend.

It's 3 points for the fittings and the. Obviously your car is an mot fail.

When I said say goodbye to it, I meant you'll get Points haha

Ive never heard anything about getting points for it, I think you just have to declare there not there and fitting need to be gone for MOT's

I honestly would have refused to take the points and asked to have been taken to court, then when you get there explain to the judge that you was transporting a small chest of draws which wouldn't have fitted with the seats in so they had to be removed and you hadn't put them in/on the way back home to put them in.

I didn't get points, but I was threatened with them, I just took the fittings out on the side of the road...
