What tyres would you recommend?? My mate has toyo proxes and he says they are good, but do they make them in 13's?? Or is there something else which you would say is better??

Yeah my mates car seems to handle pretty well, and it doesnt wheelspin that much since he got the t1r's and he has 160bhp with only 750kg so they must be doing something good!! :) also, would people say its worth getting better shocks, or would you just wait and get coilovers??

depends what you want, if youve got a strong back get coilovers!

tyre wise uniroyal make rainsports in 185//50/13 and so do faulken which i have on my 14's at the mo and the performance in the ice is way better than i expected.

You can't get proxies in 13s sadly, smallest is 14 inch

Is recommend shocks 100% lowering springs especially on non gas shocks your 1.1 will feel poor and crashy compared to purpose built sports suspension

the handling differences will be nice too, but imo for you I'd start with finding the sports model anti roll bars front and back then consider gmax shocks

for the front you will need the complete sub frame from a si, rs or xr and then the shocks to support a drop link to the arb

the back you can simply buy a beam from the stated models (excluding si 1.4 8v)

arb's make a massive difference

also I highly recommend rainsport tyres, the name is deceiving, should have been called the Allsports

Yeah i was gonna look into an rs turbo rear beam, or any that has the anti roll bar, which i will still probably do, atm its a bit bouncy sometimes but its better than standard. Them rainsports sound like a plan, i dont need any tyres yet so they'll have to wait!! Atm i have 60mm gmax springs.

it sits well, do the springs come loose when you jack it up, i used a sports set on mine, shorter shockers so springs still need compressing in, yours looks well low though, unless its your wheels sit out more

im changing my wheels to rs 4 spokes i love the idea of a dish/lip on the rim

like these

Yes, yes they do come loose  but f**k it. I like how it sits, it does need to be about 10mm lower (or more) the wheels fill the arches really well now though :D
I love them 4 spokes, but only when they are diamond cut but thy are never cheap, never seen them on a 2i lookalike so it could look good, as long as they were spaced correctly!!

Capri peppers with 175/50/13s and coilies is what you need. I really dont think any variety of the rs4 spoke suits a mk3.
