Postby PUMARST on Fri Jun 01, 2007 6:54 am

Hi

I and my friend have problem, we put to mk3 1,8 16v the engine from Mondeo 2,0 16v. We use all necessery parts from 1,8. and the car is runnig worse then befor,. we use all managment (ecu, edis, Maf, cpp etc).
Injectors are from 2,0. Mafsensor too, TB from RS1800, and the car is runnig like 110KM mayby 115KM. Nothing more :(

We have no error on ecu.

Mayby someone can halp us??

We don't sure about ECU witch we have, 105KM or 130KM, so can you tall me all ECU numbers from Escort/orion/Fiesta 1,8 16v RS1800 (130KM).

If someone has the same problem please halp us.

It isn't turbo car.

Thanks a lot

PumaRST.

PS: How you put the 2,0 to mk3. What parts do you use and what is from 1,8 and what is from 2,0. do you always mapind the car??

You need to make sure everything is matched, that is:

2.0 MAF, 2.0 ECU, 2.0 injectors, etc.

The 2.0 ECUs (codes DEWY, DEEP or DESK) will only work with later 1.8 16v engine looms, that is, those with internal EDIS (No EDIS module on the bulkhead).

Those ECUs will also work with the 1.6 16v engine loom (as used in the 1.6 16v Si and 1.6 16v Ghia).

They will NOT work with the earlier 1.8 16v engine looms which used external EDIS (cars with the EDIS module on the bulkhead).

If you are still using the 1.8 ECU, MAF, etc, then it would probably be ideal to use the 1.8 injectors (although I believe the 1.8 and 2.0 injectors flow very very similar rates).

The 105PS (105KM as you call it) ECU will probably not run the 2.0 very well if that is what you are using. Typical 105PS ECU code is 2FCD... I'm not certain, but NEON and FLUX MAY BE 105 also, but I cannot remember :( Those are all external EDIS ECUs. I do not know of any internal EDIS 105PS ECUs.

RS1800 130PS external EDIS ECUs:

2FDC
ALSO

The only RS1800 130PS internal EDIS ECU I know of is CULT.

Sorry if that is not too clear, but I hope that helps a little :)

FLUX is an 1100 ecu I think. :P
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Ok,
We have:

all managmet:
1) ECU and looms with sensors from 1,8. ( 2 kinds of ECU - 92FCD and 92FBC)
2) Maf from 2,0 ( we have from RS1800 too)
3) injectors from 2,0 (beige) ( we have from RS1800 too)
4) CPP with flywheele from 1,8
4) TB with sensor from 1,8

Do you thin we should use injectors from RS1800??

We are sure that we wont use RS1800 loms with everything. Not change to 2,0 or 1,6 si. we have exterior Edis

Do you know ECU 92FDD or 92FBD or 92FBE?? and 92FBC.
