MK3.5 Fiesta: rear shock top mount bush?

Postby avenger on Fri Sep 25, 2015 10:32 pm

Hello, I'm searching like crazy and can't find a MK3.5 Fiesta's rear shock top mount bush, and can't find one.

I can only find for MK4+. Is that because MK3's does not have got one at all? The shock's top is mounted directly to the car frame and using shock's own bushings?..

I see this picture that suggests that, but my MK3 is on the mecha and I didn't have an opportunity to take that rubber cap to look inside.

If you look at this picture (extracted from "500+bhp Mk3 Fiesta Project" topic on pistonheads and edited to clarify), it really looks like -- somehow -- the shock is directly fit into the frame, and there are but the shock's bushing to the trespassing perpendicular bolts.

Am I right to assume I have to just buy the shocks and its bushings will actually be the "top mount bush" I'm looking for?

For front, I could find a lot of top mount bushes.

Thanks for any info (and maybe pics and schematics) you can share!
