With the subframes and all the other orange bits i just wanted something that was bright because where they where all black they looked boring and i like orange lol.i want to do the cage orange next

Update:30/6/13

Its beem a while since i have done a update,mainly because my laptop died but its sorted now so here is a long due update,
Main thing thats happened is the car is now running and has a mot and insurance,just need to tax it on monday,
had a few issues along the way since the last update,got it running and moving under its on power but had a issue with the gearbox jumping out of 5th so had to remove the box and strip it down again,i knew the syncros where all ok so was confused as why it was jumping out,when i striped it dowm ifound where i welded 5th in place part of the weld was hiting the selector fork and pushing it off the syncro,sothat issue was sorted i put it all back together amd it was spot on,
After that was done it was just a case of sorting out little oil leaks from the drysump setup,i was trying to get the car finished for castle coombe rs day and its done but not happy about driving it there as it needs a remap asap so the plan is to get it booked in as soon as i can and get it ready for ford fair

Looking forward to seeing this at ff, will make my fez look shiit though!! Quite like the rs badge, not sure about the tow strap though!! Must be an animal!!

Thanks gus. The car is a little on the harsh side to drive lol.can feel every bump and dip in the road but handles like its on rails.hopinh to take it out on track at ff if I can get it mapped in time

Off topic, have you got any pics of your MK2 engine bay with my exhaust manifold fitted? want to get an idea of pipe work etc / thermostat housing etc.

Gary withthe areasix manifold i just used a standard mk6 escort zetec top hose, ian madethe manifold so itwent under the coolent hose instead of over so it cleared the bonnet, i will try and find the photos of the boost pipes if you need them

Little update:
Been sorting some little bits out on the car and havejust got my ecu back from ahmed for the boost controler upgrade and have also finished my dash off and fittrd my new stearing wheel, i have also booked the car in for mapping at devil devlopments on the 27th of this month and ime hoping to have it back for ford fair

mine suffered with the alternator when i first had it running. mine was down to the cable going to the battery light,i ran a separate one to a LED and all's been good.

What's it running at the mo mate . Power and boost wise?

Its only running 340bhp at 0.7 bar at the moment should be in the 500's when the boost is upped

What's it like on the 17s? I'm running 16s and it's a bit of a handful.
Was thinking to go back to 15s and lower the ride hight for a lower centre of gravity.

It seems to be ok on rhe 17's havent really driven it to see how it handles in fast corners but what I have seen so far it goes where you po8nt it and comes out tue other side with no issues.
