mk3 and motorised HU
evening!
quick quesiton, will a dvd headunit fit in a mk3 headunit slot? been considering to install this one if i get my xr2i

i think i've noticed some saying they put it in the coins area, was wondering if its actually seems a bit to low, any pics of what people have done?

The reason for putting it in the centre console is clearance issues with the original stereo placement. It seems a bit low to me (though I don't have one) which is why eventually I'm going for ones in the visors I think.

i found them to be really good actually, bought my last ICE setup from them and all worked fine, theyre better than halfrauds thats for sure

you should be fine mate..worst case scenario (and the one i would pick lol) is locate the stereo and build a custom fascia for it...

fitted in perfectly :D but got to send it back to MW as it keeps "freezing" and cant get any response out of it so get a replacement on this weekend
