mk3 fiesta 1.8 diesel to zetec

does the 1.8d box fit with the zetec 1.8 or 2.0......been a long time since ive had a mk3 fez and I've lost all knowledge....even the zetec conversion looks scary!

Anyone done this before?

Could do with some tips/info

as far as i know all ford gearbox bolt paterns are the same

as for the zetec conversion... as yours is diesel, you are going to need everything... fuel tank, fuel pipes, probably car loom as well as the normal, engine, engine loom ecu etc

The diesel box does fit the Zetec engine I have the same set up but in my mk4 :lol: Even if it was a ib5 gearbox you can still fit the gearbox cradle to it.
