Mk3 fiesta engine conversion

Postby ryansturgess1995 on Thu Jun 11, 2015 12:36 am

Hey all I have the 1.1 mk3 classic petrol fiesta with the carburettor engine and its got a few problems that are just annoying to keep fixing so I have spoken to a few friends who have built cars and have agreed to help me convert my fiesta. I have been at work on the body work and all that and will be posting a work log soon but the one thing we are wondering is what we need. I am looking at buying an rs1800 engine in there. We would like to know from fiesta owners alike what components we need to complete this conversion. This includes what car I should salvage a loom, gearbox, clutch, engine mounts etc from. If someone could type up or link me to a list I would be grateful.

Many Thanks

Ryan
